in March 2004, taking part in the Post Graduate Dog class which had 26

achievement at only just over 2 years of age. Thanks to Judge Mr R Wiles.

Kent), GUNDOG GROUP 2 at Oakengates & DCS Open Show (Mrs Zena
Thorn Andrews).
2005 began very well, with some great Open

entry for Judge Ann Kilminster. At Crufts 2005, Benson again made it into the Judge’s final
shortlist of 8 in his class, and at the Labrador Retriever Club of Wales
Championship Show Benson was placed 1st in his class. Benson
continued to be highly placed at Championship Shows, being 2nd in
his class at Southern Counties 2005 to the CC and BOB winner, and 1st
at East of England under Judge Mr Tom Grant.
Benson was unbeaten at Open Shows in the breed between November 2004 and
July 2005.
